SALLY HANSEN LAUNCHES NEW COLOUR THERAPY WITH ARGAN OIL NAIL POLISH RANGE // PRODUCT REVIEW

Autumn has well and truly arrived in Melbourne, and we had a couple of horrible cold, wet and windy days already, which I am so not liking. But what I do like is the arrival of the new season colours with fashion and beauty. And of course, Sally Hansen has a new range of nail polishes out too in them Colour Therapy range which is formulated with Argan Oil. These nail polishes have a patented micro-delivery system that delivers an argan oil-enriched formula for intense nourishment and moisture to the nails. The formula also contain acai and evening primrose oil to condition weak, dry nails.

These nail polishes are, unlike most other nail polishes, best used without a base coat, so the oil complex can directly contact the bare nail. And they claim to offer a radiant, shiny finish with up to 10 days of fade-proof, chip-resistant wear.

The new Sally Hansen Colour Therapy range with Argan Oil have been inspired by the colours revealed from reading energies of aura and chakras, with the range including nine new saturated majestic shades, including;

  • 210 Re-Nude - a very pale pastel pink shade
  • 192 Sunshine Salutation - a medium dusty pink shade
  • 150 Steely Serene - a pale nude/beige shade
  • 194 Burnished Bronze - a metallic bronze shade
  • 370 Unwine’d - a deep dark red shade
  • 372 Wine Therapy - a deep dark metallic brownish red berry shade shade
  • 402 Plum Euphoria - a deep dark metallic/holographic purple shade
  • 142 In My Element - a medium metallic grey shade

  L-R: 210 Re-Nude, 192 Sunshine Salutation, 150 Steely Serene
194 Burnished Bronze,
370 Unwine’d, 372 Wine Therapy
402 Plum Euphoria, 142 In My Element

This range is seriously beautiful and the shades complement each other so much, in their tonal variance. They are the perfect autumn shades, and the addition of especially the silver, bronze and purple, means that you can also add a bit of fun, by for instance painting just a single nail with for a bit of glam, or of course go all out with all finger and toes! These shades are absolutely stunning, and I especially love the Burnished Bronze shade as it is so different from anything else in my collection, though the dark metallic purple, Plum Euphoria is also beautiful.

For everyday casualness, I love the pale shades, especially the pinkish pale shades, including a classic such as Re-Nude and or the slightly darker Sunrise Salutation. Unfortunately I don’t find that the pale beige, Steely Serene really suits my skin tone. And finally, reds will never fail to get me excited, and that of course includes the deep dark red shade Unwine’d and the even darker brownish red, Wine Therapy.

As for the claims of a 10 day wear, I can’t quite say that they lasted that long on my fingers, but I do also wash my hands very frequently thanks to a toddler in nappies and two dogs. But I did manage to get 5+ days wear, before the polish started to look a bit average, but personally, I also find that is resonable. I tend to do my nails over the weekend, and if they can last throughout the week, then I’m generally happy. I do love that these are enriched with the argan, acai and evening primrose oils, so they care for my nails as I wear them. Gotta love multi-functional products.

But all in all these nail polish shades from the new Sally Hansen Colour Therapy range with Argan Oil really are goregous, so if you’re looking for some new autumn inspired shades, then you really need to check these out.
