PRODUCT REVIEW: MARY KAY MAKEUP FAVOURITES

One brand that I find is totally underrated is Mary Kay. The products are only sold online or through consultants, which perhaps is a reason, but even so, the brand has so many amazing products. So today I am going to do a rundown on some of my favourite Mary Kay Makeup products..

The Semi-Shine Lipsticks offers full-coverage with a lovely luminous shine, The are long-wearing, but as they are also very moisturising they feel so soft and comfortable on the lips, just like a lip balm. My fave is the dark mauve shade, Rosewood, though the lighter dusty pink shade, Raspberry Ice, is also great for daily wear, and the bolder brighter pink fuchsia shade, Powerful Pink, is great to brighten up the face.
RRP: $25 / 3.6

The Lip Liners are soft and creamy waterproof liners that applies easily and smoothly to define the lips and prevent lip colour from feathering and bleeding. The slim, retractable pencil has a built-in shaper cap, which I really love too.
RRP: $18 / 0.28g

The Chromafusion Eye Shadows are very pigmented that can easily be build up as desired, and they really do stay put without creasing or fading, even on my greasy eyelids, and without fall-out too. There’s heaps of shades in the range from matte to shimmer, and I love how they come in singles, so that you can create your own customised palette. The neutral gal that I am, I love shades such as the matte beige Sand Castle as base and the matte chocolate shade, Cinnabar to define.
RRP: $14 / 1.4g

The Volumising Brow Tint has microscopic fibers that cling to brow hairs to give the appearance of fuller, more groomed brows, while looking very natural. It is easy, and very quick to use thanks to the tiny mascara-style spoolie, which I really love. Plus it stays put and keeps unruly brows in place throughout the day too.
RRP: $20 / 4g

The Liquid Eyeliner Pen has a super fine tip, which I really like, so you can create the thinnest line, or of course go bold with a few extra strokes. pigmented, you only need to trace once, and it is smudge proof, so it stays put throughout the day!
RRP: $21 / 1.5g

The Perfecting concealer has added antioxidants to help protect against free radicals. It easy conceals and blurs minor imperfections like blemishes, dark shadows and circles under the eyes and pigmentation, thanks to its light-diffusing technology. It is easy to apply foot doe applicator, and can be built up, yet stays looking natural. Stays put throughout the day, even on my combination skin, and without settling into fine lines and wrinkles.
RRP: $25 / 6g

The Lash Primer is a clear lash primer that is used as a base coat prior to mascara, helps create the look of longer and more voluminous lashes, that are lifted and stay curled for longer. It is made using Panthenol-Pro™ Complex to help strengthen and condition lashes, for healthier and more nourished lashes with less breakage. I actually also love using this one on my brows, to make them appear fuller, either on its own, or with a brow product on top.
RRP: $22 / 8g

The Lash Love Mascara is a waterproof mascara that promises to define, defend and give the lashes 4x volume while still looking natural, and without any clumps or looking stiff. It also contains the Panthenol-Pro™ Complex and vitamin E to help moisturise, strengthen and condition lashes, to prevent breakage and brittleness. It is easy to reach those hard-to-reach lashes, and you can build up the volume by adding a few extra coats. I also love that it is fragrance free and very gentle, so it is also suitable for my sensitive eyes.
