VALENTINES DAY SKINCARE FROM AEOS, FACE HALO, MOMENTS4ME AND RACINNE LADY S

Today I am going to talk about skincare some great skincare gift ideas for Valentines Day... Or the perfect products to get you ready and glowing for a night out with your loved one..

Let's start with some skincare from AEOS, which stands for Active Energised Organic Skincare. AEOS is a British brand with biodynamic ingredients, meaning that the 100% natural and organic ingredients are nurtured and grown in a way that maximises their potential as well as they are harvested at the peak of their mineral and nutrient life. And they are of course free from chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers. These ingredients are also blended with the purest water enhanced by crystal energies, to maximise their synergistic power to nourish and hydrate the skin.

The AEOS Pink Gentle Cleansing Lotion is a super gentle cleanser that helps remove all makeup and impurities, and it is quite light, yet I found it super efficient, easily removing all my makeup and leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth and clearly radiant. It is made using among others Spelt Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Rose Hip Oil, Argan Oil, Lavender Extract, Rose Extract, Chamomile Extract, Arnica Extract, Rose Oil, Grapefruit Oil and it has crystal essences from Fire Opal, Rose Quartz, Calcite, Quartz, Charoite, Rubelite to help tone the skin, as well as support the heart chakra and promote kindness, caring and warmth. I also love how the pretty pink colour is natural and derived from the plants.

The AEOS Pink Gentle Exfoliant is made with Spelt Oil, Jojoba Oil, Hazelnut Oil, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Rosewater, Calendula Extract, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Calendula Oil to help leave the skin soft and smooth, intensely nourished and hydrated, and looking so fresh and glowing. It also contains crystal essences of rose quartz and quartz to aid toning, support the heart chakra and promote kindness, caring and warmth. The exfoliator can be used once a week for mature skin, twice a week for those with normal to sensitive skin, or if you have combination to oily skin, it can be used three times per week.

Then there' the AEOS Refreshing Hydrating Mist, which is the perfect for dull skin such as mine. It contains Rosewater, Lavender Extract, Orange Extract, Spelt Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, along with crystal Essences of Opal, Amethyst, Charoite, Turquoise, Emerald, Quartz, Chrysoprase to energise, revitalise and balance both skin and mind. The Hydrating mist has a beautiful fruity floral scent and it is to be used by spritzing it lightly over face and neck after cleansing, but before serum and moisturiser, though it can also be used throughout the day on top of makeup to revitalise the skin and refresh your makeup . The gorgeous light blue colour is extracted from gardenias, and it comes in a beautiful tall glass bottle.

To finish, there's the AEOS Pink Enriching Moisturiser, which is made with pelt oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Rosewater, Lavender Extract, Chamomile Extract, Arnica Extract, Sweet Orange Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Lemon Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil to help soften, smooth, condition and moisturise dry, fatigues or environmentally-sensitised skin. It also contains the crystal essences Fire Opal, Rose Quartz, Topaz, Orange Calcite, Charoite, Rubelite to aid toning, support the heart chakra and promote kindness, caring and warmth.

This moisturiser is so super light that it is also perfect for my combination skin, as it s also non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin without any greasiness, yet it is clearly super moisturising leaving it so soft and smooth and instantly plumped. It doesn't contain any SPF, which some may find a negative, but I don't as I like adding it on top anyway, and that also means that it can be used both night and day.

These products not only look amazing with their pale pink and blue colours along with their tall sleek bottles, but they also have the most divine fresh fruit and floral scent, which you can clearly tell is natural and from the added ingredients. But the products also feel so beautiful and luxurious to use and seriously makes the skin look and feel amazing too, and I love that these products go beyond your usual skincare products with the added crystal essences and the caring properties for the mind and soul too, and that the products also support emotional well-being through colour and scent. It will be one sad day when these products run empty!

Then there is a product that seems to be getting a lot of hype at the moment, the Face Halo, which is been hailed the new one-step makeup remover. The Face Halo was developed by two mums, both of which regular skipped makeup removal before bed, thanks to being worn our from looking after their kids, and as they found the whole process tedious. The Face Halo was then developed. Looking like an oversized makeup pad, the Face Halo was their answer to a simple, quick and efficient solution thanks to being made from an ultra-fine microfiber technology that is 100 times finer than a strand of human hair and engineered specifically to lift and trap makeup and impurities from the skin and your pores into the fiber network, while simultaneously providing a gentle and invigorating exfoliation.

The Face Halo is suitable for all skin types and requires no solvent other than water, leaving skin clean and completely makeup free from even the toughest waterproof makeup. With water alone... Now, I also have kids, and little ones too, but that said, I NEVER - EVER go to bed with makeup. I actually enjoy it. Its my few moments alone all to myself when the kids are in bed and usually my hubby is also in bed reading, so for those few moments I have the bathroom all to myself. But let's just say I was left curious still on how it stacked up against my usual cleansers..

And to my surprise, it actually removed as much, if not more of my makeup than my usual cleansers, simply by wiping the wet sponge over your face. I did have a few traces of makeup left afterwards, but the same is the case when using standard (and expensive cleaners), but all of that with just the sponge and warm tap water! So all in all, I have to say that I am impressed, also at how gentle they were against my skin and how it left it feeling soft and smooth afterwards. My only issue with these is that they have to be washed after each use (they can simply go in the washing machine) and as there are only three in a pack, you would need to have at least two packs, to see you through the good part of the week. Plus, I am not sure how long they last, before they'd need to be replaced.

The Face Halo's are not particularly cheap for a pack of three, so even a cheap cleanser would probably be cheaper, however, if you do come home late one night and cannot be bothered, then they are a quick option, as well as they can also be perfect for when you're travelling as they don't weigh as much.

If you're looking for cool beauty gadget, then look no further than at the Racinne Lady S Home Spa Device. This little handheld device helps improve collagen levels and assist in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The clever device is multi-functional and can heat to 42 degrees Celsius, as well as it also features red light therapy, micro-current, iontophoresis and micro-vibration. The 42 degrees Celsius helps the skin boost collagen production, while the Iontophoresis uses electrical movement to deliver beneficial antioxidants, vitamins and peptides to the skin.

As beauty products are applied to the skin, the ionic molecules propel nutrients deeper into the skin. Micro-currents improve skin texture and elasticity. Electrical currents promote tissue healing while micro-vibration massages the skin to improve circulation. Red light therapy emits a light to help increase the skin’s elastin and collagen production.

I've especially enjoyed using the Spa mode with the heat to massage my skincare into my skin every night, and I find massaging the warm device over my skin somewhat relaxing, though I've also enjoyed the second mode, the Fit Mode to help tighten and firm my ageing skin. And already after a few weeks use, I am absolutely amazed at the results. Immediately after each use, it is obvious that my skincare is absorbed much better into my skin, and it is more glowing, and even the next morning after use, the results are very obvious. It is not a cheap device, however, at the cost of not much more than a professional facial or two, this will with continued use give you a more toned, firmer and more radiant skin. Just brilliant.
