TREE OF A KIND: LIPGLOSSES

It’s been a little while since I’ve done one of my Three of a Kind posts, so I thought it was time to the first one for 2015, starting with three different kinds of Lipglosses available for all budgets;

MUD Mango Lipgloss

This cute little pot of Lipgloss from MUD come in a range of flavours/scents including Mango, Cherry and Grape, and although it looks peach tinted in the pot, it goes on clear, leaving the lips with a nice sheen. It doesn’t last long on the lips, and you certainly need to reapply after eating and drinking, but at just $2.00 per pot, these lipglosses are just too cute to resist!

RRP: $2.00 (6.5g) – Available from Woolworths

Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities

I have previously raved about the Lanolips 101 Ointments (see my post here), as an ointment suitable for all types of uses including dry hands, cuticles and of course extremely dry lips too. These new Lanolips 101 Fruities contain the usual medical grade lanolin, vitamin E as well as natural fruit extracts. There are three 100% natural flavours; Strawberry, Peach and Apple. The Strawberry contains alpha-hydroxy acids from the fruit, and this helps us slough off dead cells so that new, healthy skin is revealed. The Peach one contains Peach kernel oil that sinks into the skin easily & helps revive with a combination of vitamins & polyunsaturated fatty acid, while the apple is one is acidic, and vitamins and antioxidants, acting as natural environmental protection. All of flavours go. on clear, leaving the lips feeling soft and moisturised for hours, and with that lovely natural flavour lingering.

RRP: $13.95 (10g) – Available from Mecca Maxima

Jurlique Hydra Gloss

These lip glosses from Jurlique are extremely nourishing for the lips containing Nutri-Oil Complex and rich in Vitamin E to protect and soothe dry lips. The lip glosses are available in two shades, I’m Blushing and I’m Neutral, both of which gives the lips a lovely wash of sheer colour, while leaving the lips with a nice gloss finish and feeling soft and smooth. They can be used both on their own as well as over any lipstick for additional shine. The lip glosses are free from parabens, PEG’s and artificial fragrances, but have a lovely mild minty scent and a lovely cooling sensation on the lips that I really like. They last quite well, although needing to be reapplied after eating and drinking, but the soft and moisturised lips you’ll keep for hours!

RRP: $22 (10ml) – Available from Jurlique

So there you go, three different types of lipglosses, all at different price points.

Have you tried any of these lip glosses? Fan of Jurlique, Lanolips or MUD? Can you recommend any lip glosses?
