Product Review & NOTD: Revitanail Triple Strength Nail Polish with Swatches

I have periods where my nails are absolutely hopeless. They break and flake, regardless of how short I keep them, and that’s when I turn to the Revitanail Nail Strengthener and the Revitanail Strengthening Serum, which are both such wonder products sure to make my nails strong and healthy again in no time. That’s why I was excited when I was asked to trial the *Revitanail Triple Strength Nail Polishes. Here are my thoughts;

What They Say:
"Combining a high-quality polish formula with powerful strengthening ingredients, Revitanail, the experts in nail care, reveal the most exciting and innovative launch yet. Introducing Revitanail Triple Strength; a unique colour range that makes weak and damaged nails a thing of the past. Available in five on-trend nail shades, the Revitanail Triple Strength colour range offers superior coverage with a quick-dry gloss finish and streak-free, smooth application."

RRP: $14.95 (14ml) – Available from Pharmacies and Priceline

What I Say:
The Revitanail Triple Strength Nail Polish strengthens, protects and hydrates nails with a trio of potent and active ingredients. The polishes contain clinically proven Keratin Peptide, which actively removes the harmful free radicals most commonly associated with nail damage while Bamboo works to improve flexibility and strength and Calcium provides protection and promotes growth.

How great does that sound – nail polishes in a beautiful range colours, which work to strengthen your nails at the same time.

And even better that the polishes are also 3-Free, and hence free from harmful chemicals including Formaldehyde, Toluene, Camphor and Dibutyl Phthalate.

The Revitanail Triple Strength colours include:

Marshmallow
– a classic pale pink with an elegant, opaque finish

Cashmere
– a neutral, creamy beige-taupe shade

Black Plum
– a blackened deep purple

Graphite
– a dark, steely grey

Pomegranate
– a vibrant pink-toned red

I tried the colours Pomegranate, Black Plum and Cashmere, and all were so lovely on.

The polishes apply very easily and thanks to the wide brush just a few strokes is all it takes to fully cover the nail. And the result is amazing, a nice even finish with a nice gloss.

I wore the nail polishes without under coat or top coat, and got three days wear from the polishes, before they started to chip at the edges – but as I always use my hands a lot, tapping away at the keyboard, and wash my hands a lot during the day, this is more than likely also reducing the wear. And if used with an undercoat and a top coat, I am sure that the wear would be extended with a few days.
L-R: Black Plum, Cashmere, Pomegranate

The nail polish is easy to remove, and afterwards my nails feels strong and healthy, so I can only imagine that continued and frequent use of these polishes will give you the healthiest nails ever.

At $14.95 I find that this is a reasonable price to pay for a nail polish that also doubles as a nail treatment.

What I Like:

  • The beautiful colour range
  • That the nail polishes are multi-tasking, and hence caring and treating my nails, while looking glamorous
  • That the nail polishes are free from Formaldehyde, Toluene, Camphor and Dibutyl Phthalate

What I Don’t Like:
  • I really have no negatives to say about these polishes – but if I have to say something, it would be that there are only five colours in the range, and I would love to see more colours extended.

Overall, I love this new nail polish range and the fact that I can treat my nails while wearing polish. Well done Revitanail!
