PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO LUMINOUS BLUSHER PALETTE AND GLOWING BRONZER PALETTE - LIMITED EDITION

Natio has long been one of my favourite Australian brands, and now, just in time for spring, they have released a limited edition Luminous Blusher Palette and a Glowing Bronzer Palette.

Taking inspiration from spring’s fresh blooms and gentle sunshine, the Natio Luminous Blusher Palette and a Glowing Bronzer Palette, are designed to give skin a subtle, giddy glow. They have been inspired by the soft radiance of the year’s most vital season, - and my personal favourite season - and each palette features a selection of hues to bring new life and lustre to winter-pale complexions.

Intended to capture the dewy glow of the first rays of sunshine in the morning, the Luminous Blusher Palette has rosy tones of young blooms, offering a warm-toned take on spring skin. It is such a pretty palette, containing six petal shades to help bring out natural warmth and luminosity in your skin with a touch of radiance. The shades include; in the top row, Seashell, Peachy Glow, Coral, and in the bottom row, Hibiscus, Peach-Pink and Deep Rosewood.

It has a great combination of shades for all skin tones. Considering the low price for the large palette, these blushes are very lovely very silky soft. Their pigmentation is also quite good, again especially considering the budget price. They apply sheer, but can be built up slightly, while still looking very natural and gorgeous. I also like that they have just the tiniest touch of sheen without being too over the top shimmery. All the shades are lovely, but my personal favourites would be the Coral (Top Right), and Hibiscus and Peach-Pink (Bottom Left and Bottom middle), as I feel they give my pale cheeks that just flushed look.

The Natio Glowing Bronzer Palette contains six shades, five bronzing shades as well as a highlighter to help brings a warm sun-kissed glow to the face. The five bronzer shades include Nude Bronze, Deep terracotta, Russet Glow, Burnished Sunset and Honeyed Bronze, along with a highlighter in the shade Honeyed Beige. Often I find that bronzer compacts contain too many shades that are not suitable for my skin tone, but Natio has nailed it with this one, and I actually find that every single shade is wearable on my medium beige skin tone, also allowing for changing of seasons. And again, the powders are silky soft and apply with just a touch of radiant sheen and glow. The shades can be used on the face, but also on shoulders and décolleté for a special sun-kissed glow on a night out. These also apply quite sheer, looking very natural on the skin, and can be build up slightly if wanted. I also like that the palette contains the highlighting shade and that a few of the darker shades also are suitable for contouring.

Both palettes come in large clear compact, which personally I find a tad too big for the handbag. But as I rarely apply makeup on the go anyway, I really don't mind. I therefore also don't mind that the palettes do not have internal mirrors or come with applicators/brushes, as I always prefer to use my own brushes anyway.

The selection of shades in both palettes are very gorgeous, and as they are only $20 each, they really are bargain buys. If you want to get your hands on one or both of these, do make sure you hurry, as they are limited edition and sure to sell out fast!
