PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO GLOW FACE AND EYE PALETTE AND LIP COLOURS - LOOK NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL DAY AND NIGHT COLOUR COLLECTION

One of those Aussie brands that I really love Natio, so when new products are launched, it always makes me excited, and this new limited edition Look Naturally Beautiful Day and Night Colour Collection is no exception. The range includes among others a Face & Eye Palette and some matching lipsticks.

Let's start by talking about the Natio Face & Eye Palette, which is available in two colour combinations, where I tried the one called Glow. The colour wheel includes a 6 harmonious eye shadows, two blushes as well as a bronzer in the centre.

And for me, who barely wears anything but natural and nude shades, this palette has the perfect colours, which includes a pale pink/rose, a taupe and a mid-brown with shimmery, as well as a mid brown, chocolate brown and black matte shades. I really love the combination of the shimmer and matte so you can create just the look you want, for either a simple understated daytime look, or a more intense night-time and smoky look.

And overall I am really impressed with the consistency and quality of the shades and the formulas, which are all generally very pigmented, though naturally the darker shades are more intense. I am also very impressed with the wear of these, and while some of the shades, have a little fallout, and fade a little throughout the day, I am still very impressed at how long-wearing they are.

The two blushes in the compact are both slightly shimmery, one in a rose shade, and the other in a peachy shade, which are both lovely and very wearable, and wear well throughout the day. Finally, the bronzer, in the centre of the compact has a medium shade, and also has a touch of golden sheen, which although I generally prefer matte bronzers, as I often find that the shimmery ones make my greasy skin look even shinier, but it is actually a very refreshing change, and it does give me skin a radiant glow.

The round compact is slightly bulky, so it is perhaps not ideal for the handbag, also because it doesn't come with any applicators or a mirror - but personally, I really don't mind as I really never apply makeup on the go, or use the included applicators - but that said, it is perfect if you're going away on holidays, as it contains everything you need!

Then there's the Natio Lip Colours in the shades Sienna and Delight, which have a very creamy nourishing and moisturising formula, so they feel incredibly soft and comfortable on the lips. They are very pigmented and just one swipe is all it takes for full colour payoff thanks to the mineral pigments, and they have a semi-matte look with some tiny golden shimmering particles. The wear of the lipsticks is very reasonable with a couple of hours, but I think that's pretty standard for a moisturising lipstick. The shade Sienna is as the name suggests, a warm reddish brown, while my favourite of the two, Delight is dark berry shade with a slight purple tint. The lipsticks come in stylish black packaging and smell divine too.

So overall I am really truly impressed with the quality of these products. The palette is good quality and value, especially when you consider the low price, and the lipsticks have the most gorgeous wearable shades and are so comfortable on the lips, so they are all definitely worth checking out before they dissappear off the shelves, as remember these are limited edition!
